Why does Strike need ADB?

Local ADB on port 5555 has to be authorized on the head unit. Strike uses it during setup, for the daemons, and for in-app updates.

Does this unlock the car?

Accepted Answer

No. This is head-unit ADB access. It does not unlock doors, start the car, or bypass the vehicle's locks.

A small fee may be charged for the unlocking work. Confirm the amount in Discord before you agree. There is no Strike subscription.
