Will it work with my BYD?

Strike needs Android 9 or newer, 64-bit ARM, compatible cameras and ignition readings, and local ADB access. It has been tested on the Atto 2. Other camera profiles exist, but some camera systems are not supported yet.

Does recording need internet?

No. Recording and detection run on the head unit. Internet is only needed for remote access and updates.

Is there an account or subscription?

No. Strike has no account and no server of its own. Remote access is optional and uses your own domain and Cloudflare setup.

What happens when the car is off?

Surveillance can arm on ignition off or on locking. It keeps the cameras and head unit awake, so how long it runs depends on your car and your settings.
